  • Update: Rosepine, Louisiana (First reported 08-08-14): The police chief was indicted on felony stalking and malfeasance charges. He is alleged to have stalked his estranged wife and illegally used a police database to find personal information through a license plate search. http://ow.ly/GMbKt 
  • San Antonio, Texas: A police officer was fired for neglecting duty 23 times over four months. The investigation utilized dashcam footage and GPS to show, among other incidents, that the officer once drove away from a call to respond to a self-inflicted gunshot wound even though she was the closest officer in the area. The individual died later of his wound.http://ow.ly/GMcyg
